I have to agree on a leading 0 in 09.anything. I don't like that at all. 9.05 vs. 9.5 though, I'm pretty ambivalent, but leaning slightly toward including the 0, so 9.05 takes it by a narrow margin. I also do have to say I somewhat prefer using the month of release (current 1.7.3 would be 9.01, except we definitely aren't going to introduce the new numbering scheme with the old code) over just release 9.N and 9.N++. 9.05.1 9.05.2 seems most sensible as far as that goes, for months where there are fix follow-ups in quick succession. -- D.
