Dear RG Team,

When the blue strip at the bottom of notation view and matrix view was
introduced, I was a bit skeptical.

I see it has some value when used to navigate large segments. But it becomes
fairly meaningless with super size segments (1000 measures of 4/4 as an
example). It is also relatively and a bit useless glitch when viewing segments
that do not fill the window: The white box can be dragged outside of range,
and introduces jitters.

What was RG's plan for this box.

If I saw it disappear, that would be no sweat off my back. Since we have
dynamic zooms and scroll bars, we can just use those to pan and zoom in and out
to get the birds eye view the blue strip provides.

Or, we could hide/unhide this feature since it take a lot of good screen area
that could be better used (specially on wide format monitors).

But, I'd like to hear what people are thinking about the blue area.
I know somebody--don't recall who--put some work into it. So I'm trying to
respect that, but I've never really liked the feature personally.

Sincerely
Julie S.
