We'd be happy for you to look into this.

>From what I can tell about the TimeWidget code, it appears to have been

And it also has states for read only (but don't know who or when this is called 
as read only).

This makes adding more bells and whistles a bit problematic  because, every 
step of the way typically requires checking to see if the various QWidgets 
exist.

If you get serious about doing some work that involves this Widget it could use 
some refactoring.  But don't let that stop you from hacking at it.
