It's just as well I haven't made any progress toward getting Rosegarden to build with Qt 4.7 then. Does anybody remember/know how on earth to do this, incidentally? You can download Qt pre-compiled and drop it in userland in a tidy little package, but I just futzed around here for what turned into an hour, and I never could get Rosegarden to find Qt with dozens of permutations of QTDIR. Let's try going that route. It really looks like it SHOULD work, so now we just have to figure out why it doesn't for you or for me. I'll also mention that I've fooled around with turning off the stylesheet and assorted other things like that. I can change the look of everything being all wrecked, but none of that stuff has any bearing on anything important, and it's a red herring. -- D.
