I was actually asking about different dialogs. Say, the quantize dialog.
Seeing no particular connection betwen PitchBendSequenceDialog and display
made me wonder if perhaps something wasn't redrawing after a dialog. That
does sound like what you're seeing.

Hmm. The big thing that Logarithmic does differently is calculates
"timeRatio" differently. That's in a switch statement and everything
outside the switch is common to all modes.
So I wondered if maybe Logarithmic was calculating crazy timeRatios and
therefore making us scribble events outside the proper time interval.
That shouldn't screw up the display like that, though. It doesn't for
other insert-event-at-crazy-time bugs.
Anyways, that doesn't seem to be the case. I looked at the Logarithmic
calculations; they look right. Tried it out live, trying to break it, and
it visibly puts all the events at the right times. I don't think that's
it.
So I'm stumped. Sometimes bugs with bizarre dependences on values that
shouldn't matter are memory bugs, that's all I can guess.
