Nope.

Nothing gets your attention like a boom accompanied by an assert.  I 
like asserts.  I have no idea why Rosegarden avoids them.

I always use and do all real creative work with a debug build, and I've 
had more crashes than I could count.  I've lost some work.  It comes 
with the territory.
