I discovered an interesting bug. If you try to use Rosegarden in Chinese, it crashes every time it receives a mouse button down event. Doesn't matter what you click on. All the traces lead to an abort in Qt libs, and I can't find anything implicating our code. I tried turning off your new fatal warning gizmo, thinking at first this was aborting on a Qt fatal warning of the type that used to fail silently. That is not the case. It crashes regardless. So if Rosegarden crashes when you use it in Chinese, don't use it in Chinese is the best thing I can figure. I don't see any way we can do a damn thing about this one. I don't have a real Chinese environment or a real Chinese computer (heh, well, actually...) so I'm going to forget I ever saw this and whistle right on by. I think Chinese is waaaay down on the list of active translations anyway. -- D.
