It looks like this is going to be death by 100 paper cuts.  I just ran 
into something completely random and trivial that's dying due to this 
newly heightened level of quality.

We need EXTENSIVE!!! testing before releasing like this.

On the bright side, it increases the chances of a painless upgrade to Qt 
5.x.
