BTW, while desperately searching yesterday for any clues to solve my dilemma, I unavoidably ran across the extensive online references to your historical and continuing position in the Qt world. Even more so than the last time I mentioned it here, I'm somewhat embarrassed (of course in addition to being grateful) for your help with my newbie problems. It's an honor and privilege I'll try not to abuse.

Somewhat similarly Ted: I started with your Linux MIDI Guide years ago and missed making the connection. And I probably just haven't yet found Philip's accomplishments outside of Rosegarden.

Not sure I'm qualified to be hanging with this crowd, but I still hope to contribute something that will make your net time expenditure on me worthwhile.
