Yes, absolutely. Apologies for leaving that out. My Emacs stuff doesn't
modify files (whitespace or anything else) if they're simply being
viewed, only if they're being edited and re-written to disk. And it's
certainly not run by default on every the file in the repository.
No. Bring on the code. I can't promise very fast turnaround (we
have two top priority user requests in play right now), but I will get
to it. If you can get someone else on the team reviewing and testing,
that would help me immensely. I need two sets of eyes on every change
at the user and developer levels.
Not a problem. It's going to take me some time to implement my proposal.
However long that is, schedule the Rosegarden team's review, test, and
possible merge at your convenience. I'll also advertise for review and
test volunteers on the mailing list and/or feature request ticket.
