Confess I've never used the Midisport 1x1, got a fistful of random cheap thing off of ebay and bargain basements that get handed out as they work well enough until you need to connect a rackfull of kit up. The midisport 2x2 and 4x4 are very good bits of kit, but getting the firmware in place has been tricky on some distros. Like the bypass button.
