Hi, I've got the same issue, I have Ubuntu 12.04LTS and can't find a setting for QTDIR or --with-qtdir= that gets rid of the error:
checking QTDIR... configure: error: *** Failed to find Qt4 installation. QTDIR must be defined, or --with-qtdir option given I definitely have qt4 installed. Could you help me figure out what to tell the ./configure script? I have tried quite a few things without success. For example: ./configure --with-qtlibdir=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ --prefix=/usr --with-qtdir=/usr/lib/qt4 or: ./configure --with-qtlibdir=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ --prefix=/usr --with-qtdir=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt4 I read the README and there is a hint about setting --with-qtlibdir, but nothing about setting --with-qtdir.
