After all I think this makes sense as Rosegarden is first of all a 'sequencer', those software are a different beast in that they are finally aimed at typesetting. Still RG has among the best notation I've seen in (even commercial) sequencers, so I've always been quite happy about it. People wanting 'professional' typesetting (on Linux) IMHO should really look into Lilypond (the 'TeX of music), which by the way Rosegarden supports very well as export format. My two cents.
