Hello, everybody!

I made an .rgd file for Yamaha PSR-SX600 arranger keyboard two months ago and
sent it to the mailing list. However, the attachment was so large (29.9 KiB)
that the mailing list said the mail requires moderator approval. I haven't got
any response for two months, so I decided to split the file and repost it here.

The attachment of this mail is part 1 (of 2). To recover the complete file,
please use
`cat Yamaha-PSR-SX600.rgd.* > Yamaha-PSR-SX600.rgd`

The following is the contents of the original mail:

Hello, everybody!

Recently, I found out that lots of .rgd files for Yamaha PSR series arranger
keyboards are shipped with Rosegarden. Unfortunately, there are only .rgd files
for models manufactured two decades ago, so I decided to try creating a .rgd
file for a modern model by myself, and here it is!

It is a .rgd file for Yamaha PSR-SX600, carefully curated with everything that
Rosegarden can keep track of: voice (program) names, keymaps, controllers...
Feel free to use it as a starting point for other models!

I have a PSR-SX600 at home, but now I am at university and do not have access
to it, so this .rgd file is not thoroughly tested. But I believe it should work
out-of-the-box.

However, I found a bug of Rosegarden when using it. There is a voice named
"Matrix" in PSR-SX600. When selecting the voice, it is displayed as "钢琴卷帘窗" in
Chinese, which means the Matrix editor in which you can draw notes. I think it
is not a good idea to translate voice names from a .rgd file. Maybe this should
be fixed.

Nevertheless, enjoy it!

Huanyu Liu
