I have had this issue with 3 separate systems now so I know that this
time the problem is not with my decaying brain!
Using RG with Qsynth this week to play a piece I've been working on, all
parts were set correctly except the percussion track.
I hadn't changed anything in the .rg file. I haven't updated RG in that
time and the .rgd file is still GM.rgd. Fluidsynth was updated
from repos on 1st April so I suspect it might have something to do with
that. It seems that RG is no longer able to get Fluidsynth
to accept a bank change/program change via the percussion check-box in
instrument parameters.
I was able to correct the problem by manually editing the qsynth
channels list so no big deal but I would appreciate if someone
can cast some light on this.
