that there was some interaction between that, the GM/GM2 issue and a new version of Fluidsynth. However,
I have just checked again with a clean setup - Qsynth running, GM2.rgd loaded, new part with a few notes edited in on track 6.
Track 6 set to GM2 device, Midi channel 6. Instrument params set to Percussion | Drumsets | Standard | Fixed.
Result = Piano! and looking at the 'Channels' dialog in Qsynth this is confirmed.
If I change the Midi channel to 10, then I get drums but I understood that it should be possible to set
any midi channel for percussion - or did I dream that? 🙂 Chuck. On 14/04/2025 20:06, Ted Felix wrote:
RG does support sending bank/program for percussion tracks. But you would need to be using GM2.rgd (not GM.rgd) to do this (or roll your own .rgd). I just tried it and it's working for me.Ted. _______________________________________________ Rosegarden-user mailing list Rosegarden-user@lists.sourceforge.net - use the link below to unsubscribe https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/rosegarden-user
