As I said, I was running with the rpc.cfg recommended in the manual. This specifies an ARM710 processor, not the default StrongARM. As I also said, I can't change anything through the menu because once I've used the menu the virtual screen goes blank so I can no longer use the emulated machine. > Can you also provide the contents of the rpclog.txt file which is > generated when you run RPCEmu? Attached. I did change the CPU type to ARM610 in case it helped. In this session, I was able to use the menus once (I opened the Settings dialog, then clicked cancel), and the screen was fine. However, I then opened the menus again, and pressed Escape, and the virtual screen went black. Also, I still had the boot problem: when I initially ran rpcemu, !Boot was not executed, nor was any of the CMOS configuration respected (screen mode &c.). On clicking Shutdown and Restart (from the taskbar menu), the machine rebooted properly. In other words, changing from ARM710 to ARM610 didn't seem to make much difference.
