In general, the less formatting the better.
formatting tends to be a problem as the screen sizes change drastically (think
looking up docs on a mobile device) or if you read the docs with a text-based
browser (think of servers that aren't running X)

Do you want the HTML output to have any heavy formatting? Or just the standard
output seen in the current docs? It appears to be easy enough to setup. I just
need to know so I can put together a final theme for it.

Currently there is no documents repo. :) I was just going to create a

the Rsyslog organization later takes no time at all.
yeah, it's a different story. Looks fine, we can transfer at any time
you like.
@Otis: got the PR, but now family becomes demanding, will take probably
till tomorow to merge.
at this point it'd be quite understandable if the merge took until the new
year. i have to say this project/response time is simply amazing (compared to
many other foss projects, including apache based ones ;-) ).
i don't want to duplicate work, but once the docs repo (great idea btw) is
comitted i'm happy to help with cleanup as well. i have no problem with html,
but also could help with move to markup (similar to freebsd docs project).
that said, even markup has problems...every time i learn rst, sgml, xsl, etc. i
find useful things but also wondering why i took the time to learn something
that is ultimately still code to some extent. :-) of course as docs grow big
advantage will be templates, includes, consistent style, etc.
thanks guys, and happy holidays.
