It means that I can do anything that Rainer can do.
In practice, I will continue to send all my patches through Rainer, but if there
is something critical that comes up, and Rainer is not available (sick or on
vacation) I will process the patch and commit it.
Rainer takes real vacations where he disappears for a couple weeks. This is
something that I don't do well :-)
