I think that is the case; after I sent that email it hit me I
probably should have the dependencies that are part of rsyslog taken
care of *before* doing rsyslog itself. Oops!

Don't feel bad; I too have not had much free time. I wanted to
get this done by end of the month but could not touch it for the last
2 weeks. Let's see if I get this working this weekend; wish me luck!
