Any idea if this is a branch issue or what might have actually broken?  I'm
trying to keep all of our systems on the latest stable release so i've been
yum updating from the stable repo instead of compiling things.

I was autocorrected to "cents 6".  I'm really using the CentOS 6 rsyslog 8
stable repo for everything.

Thoughts?
