I need to mould RT, such that a few of the Custom Fields and Subject and Requestor are mandatory while ticket creation.
I have an approach: 1. Make changes in database - add a field 'required' to table 'ObjectCustomFields' 2. Provide a check box 'Make Mandatory' while creation of custom field 3. Hard-code checks for Subject and Requestor. Does this sound right? I will appreciate any inputs on the same. I'm using RT 3.4 on Linux RedHat 9 with Apache 2 and Perl 5.8.8.
