Yes, we have been F***ED. And I don't even remotely think that
anything that will happen in court would/could restore anything that
has been taken from us (scholarships, bowl games). However, there is
at least a slim possibility that in court evidence would be presented
that could show that some one (like the ncaa) deliberately made sure
that Bama was screwed to the wall. Until the court case is settled,
there is always the possibility that there will be evidence that could
mitigate the public perception of Alabama as a bunch of cheaters.
I am so tired of hearing various media outlets constantly say "Alabama,
currently on probation for buying players". Maybe not those exact
words but the same affect.

Also, I can hope that there will be evidence some where that will
help to explain why a ND booster can embezzle over a million
dollars, take players on Vegas trips, and screw players, but ND only
looses ONE scholarship, but Alabama gets nailed without even being
charged with lack of institutional control.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that hopefully, in court, UNDER
OATH, the truth will come out. And when I say the truth, I mean
THE TRUTH. If Alabama did something to deserve punishment this
severe, then so be it, I will live with it. The University will get through
it, then start rebuilding. But if someone exaggerated the things that
Alabama (or an Alabama booster) did, and/or if someone (like the ncaa)
deliberately exaggerated the penalties against Alabama, then I want to
know that too.

And I want that M**F** nailed to the friggin' wall!!

Jenny
