Ok, but you have to have good data. The same goes with polls as it
does with statistics. I know that pollsters can influence poll results by
asking questions in certain ways or by limiting the options / answers.
Pollsters and media can skew the data to support their agenda, whatever it may
be. That is why I always try to know where someone is coming from before I
believe what they have to say / report. (Dan Rather on line 1)

Joe,
I know you have served (from your previous posts mentioning your
service), and I am grateful.
Of course this was not directed at you - unless you wrote this
(originally). I suspect we are on the same side of this issue - I just
have *NO* respect for people who abuse statistics to "prove" their
point. Either you have a good argument and facts to support it, or you
don't - but don't use bogus statistics to bolster a weak position.
Please see my other post about how badly these numbers are skewed, and
how misleading it can be abuse statistics.

I am not sure if you are directing something at me or not, but I served
for 5 years in the Army and am a Gulf War Vet. I support ALL soldiers,
even the misguided liberal ones.
