"I personally know of no one that wants to live like
that poor girl has"

Break that sentence right after the word "live", and
see how it reads to you. You must be surrounded by
really sad people.

"He may actually be one of those rare people today
that makes a promise & makes every effort to keep it,
therefore divorce is not an option."

But shacking up with someone else and producing
children with them is an option. Way to keep that
promise...

"BTW, refusing medical treatment is not euthanasia."

What would you call starving someone to death?

He has a huge incentive to kill this woman and cremate
the body ASAP. What that incentive is cannot be known
until there is either a real medical examination by
independent doctors using more than a stethescope, or
by a post-mortem examination. Unfortunately, due to
the court ruling he can and is denying both of those
things.
