Dear Group, 1) If I recall correctly one of our members Veeresh Malik (Pune/Delhi based) had done a series of similar RTIs. I think he is the only person in India to be informed the definition of "VIP" in RTI by the MHA (They sent it in sealed cover and made him sign the Official Secrets Act to receive it).
2) The AAI PIO has replied to Sanjay quite properly. In fact as IC Ansari would say "There is no denial of information to the applicant". 3) The rest of Sanjay's observations may be quite valid / useful /genuine, but as the Chief Justices of India ask public spirited litigants foolish enough to appear in person "What does all this have to do with the price of fish?" or RTI for that matter?
