Dear friends,

Is rules and regulations are for us to serve or give reasons for not doing
anything.  Normally all Government Officials are quoting some or other rules
and regulation for not doing anything.  Should we again do the same job?

With warm regards,

James.

AS A RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS, WE SHOULD NOT FIND FAULT WITH MINOR
ABERRATIONS OF RULES, IF THE INTENTION IS GOOD.

NO ONE CAN SURVIVE IF ALL THE LAWS, RULES, REGULATIONS, BYE-LAWS, NOTIFICATIONS
ARE TOTALLY FOLLOWED IN INDIA. WE HAVE ALL OUT DATED LAWS. IN FACT WE SHOULD
CONDEMN SERIOUS WRONG THINGS LIKE CORRUPTION, FRAUDS  BEING INDULDGED INTO BY
GROSSLY VIOLATING LAWS ETC.  IF WE CANNOT STOP BAD CITIZENS FROM RAPING THE
LAWS, AT LEAST WE SHOULD LET GOOD INTENTIONED PEOPLE WORK. LET US NOT FRUSTRATE
THEM.

  Dear All,

1)CIC SG   had time & again  demanded adequate qualified Staff  from Govt .

Dopt rejected   therefore does it fit in Govt's Norms to refuse  staff ?

DoPT should have provided staff  to CIC  like charged expenditure .

I believe   on 6.1.2009 ( Minutes Of Meetings) CIC sent back proposal to
increase Staff to DoPT . Why double speak? . We are with CIC SG if makes an
appeal to Citizen to donate generously to CIC as Govt has miserably failed to
meet CIC's basic demands.

Not only this we are demanding   ( alongwith other with other demands)  from
all political parties to come out in their election manifesto  to make
adequate  provision  financial & manpower requirements  for RTI & CIC & Centre
State Funding

2) Does it fit in CICs norms to direct Hon Supreme Court to  furnish property
Details without first  giving their  ( CIC's) own property detials ?

 Would CIC Wajahat Habibullah   reply?

regards

 vihar

There's an interesting news item that quotes CIC Sh. Habibullah like this.

"Shailesh Gandhi did what is restricted by government rules. You can't do

that really. But he has hired someone on his own cost. If he wants to do

that, he can do it but its normally not the norm of the government,"

http://tinyurl. com/avbsq8

If IC SG has indulged in such an abnormal activity flouting norms then CIC

should not have allowed him to do this for all these months.

There's no point in going to press on these. He should have stopped these

activities using powers vested with him when they were started. CIC is

equally guilty on this.
