Dear concerned members,

1) As you know, I am now a substantially reformed Moderator, and hardly ever
moderate this group. To that extent this group can be said to be "unmoderated"
and upholding the democratic ideal.

2) I leave it up to our members to stick to the few rules we have evolved for
ourselves these past few years. The first of these is VERIFYING the contents of
our posts and not restraining our OPINIONS from entering the discussions here.
The source/origin of information in our posts ought to be clearly specified to
the extent possible.

3) I thank someone for informing me that the second person in the photo is late
Rahul Mangaonkar (who I had never actually met).

Sarbajit
