Dear Shikha:
1.  Make sure you record the events, by way of registered / speedpost letter.2.
Retain the original purchase bills, customer care ack etc.3.  You can file
either from the town where you purchased or where the they have an office.

                  Hi,

I logged a complaint in philips consumer care about my home theatre system.
Their technician visited my place and took home theatre system saying that
it will be repaired in service center. It is almost 2 months since then and I
have called consumer care many times for get it back. Every time they give the
same reply: "We have escalated your complaint to concerned department and it
will be delivered very soon". I told them that I will log their complaint in
consumer court but still I am waiting for my home theatre system.

Now I want to log this complaint in consumer court. Can someone guide me on the
procedure? I am staying in Gurgaon and  home theatre system was taken from my
home in Mathura. Where should I file case? Please let me know about the
location also, if anyone knows that.

Thanks,

Shikha
