Hi,

First of all make sure you have a proper bill and receipt in the first
place.

Never make a mistake. Register your grievances in writing alone. Please send
reminder and keep all record. Send letter via Register Post AD and keep the
acknowledgment.

Keep in mind the warranty / Guarantee period.

Approach the local media if complaint is not being redressed.

I do not know the situation at your place, but in Mumbai the Consumer court
has to deliver judgment within 90 days, but unfortunately it goes on and on
for 3 to 4 years.

Analyze the cost of the product, the time, money and energy that you will be
spending in the consumer court and see whether it will be worth that while
to approach the Consumer Court. U understand how courts work in our country.

Approach the court as a last resort. Don't think that I am trying to
discourage you, but these are the facts of life and we being in the field
understand things much better.

You may contact me on my cell No. 9820490435 for further help.

Best Regards - Mohammed Afzal, Mumbai
