Dear Sarbajit Royji and list, After four years of RTI,there are significant number of public authorities having UDCs/office superintendent (non-gazetted employees) as CPIOs.for example visit kvic website which will make picture clear.Moreover, officer(registrar) on annual contract basis have been appointed CPIO (in MNIT,Jaipur)---and so on.
