There are several other cases of frauds in tendering processes .
Like imposing the requirement of heavy security deposits to keep out
smallerfirms , extending the last date for submission to oblige firms
at the instanceof politicians who were not able to apply in time , not
providing tender documents in time to outstation firms etc etc . In any
event, this is an issue to be dealt with elsewhere , not here .

tendering.Irregularities can be of several types like improper publicity
of tenders, imposing very high standards to keep strangers outside (but
accepting single tender of their favourite firm),granting rate contract
but not issuing any work for want of sanction(if unwanted firm gets
qualfied).
