I am sorry .Your contention that the appeallant can take the assistance of a lawyer in plain clothes is wrong . I have appeared before IC/SG at the CIC where the respondent coop society was represented by a lawyer in traditional black robes . That he made a mess of his counter is absolutely another matter .
I have also engaged lawyers in the early RTI days for presenting my case before 2 Delhi Government PAs , Delhi Police and Registrar of Coop Societies I(both notorious PAs) .
