I have this same problem also. I get a signal 11 sometimes when
compiling under RTL. I just run make a second time and it works.
This occures one every couple days or so. This is on code I wrote.
What is the real cause of "signal 11"? Has anyone looked to see
how it is generated? I am running on a 486/66 with 16MB that is
kept in an unheated out building and controlls some equipment on
the roof. The machine runs 7x24 for months on end with no problem
other then gcc crashing with "signal 11". I have no reason to
suspect a hardware problem. If it is hardware why does it only
effect gcc?
