I think, this is very essential thing to do. It is good not only for the
RT-Linux, but also for the rest of the Linux kernel. All those talks about
interrupt latency on linux-kernel... I would dream about stardard serial
driver using RT interrupts, being able to schedule events with 1e-5 s
reliability in other drivers.
But take care. If Linus likes it too much, he will redesign the whole kernel
again. :-)
