Yes. Venturcom and Radisys have competing NT's with something like the
RTL method. I have not seen good measurements on either: although they each
say unpleasant things about each other.  The problem 
with both methods is that they run on NT.  It would be interesting to
do a reliability comparison between RTX and RTL. I'd bet that the NT base
means a low MTBF.  Of course, NT has non-technical advantages that are
sometimes compelling.
