Hello all,
i have been playing with RTL a bit and got a few questions.
First is there a special reason why the RT extentions to
the kernel are not done with #ifdef's ?
Second what is the status of RTL for 2.2.x ? i saw the latest
patch was for 2.2.0-pre8 , i aplieded that one to 2.2.5 after
some small rejects it compiled ok.
Tirdth why doesn't the rtl directory not use the normal
linux kernel makefile structure, and configuration ?
And a last question why does it seem that the development is so closed?
I mean you can only find "very old" patches for
outdated kernels on the rtlinux homepage (appart from the
one for 2.0.36). The documentation and examples seem not to
be in sync with RTL for 2.2.x, is this a time problem that the ppl have
that manage the website or is there a other idea behind it?
Ok appart from the fact that the Dutch always have to complain about
something RTL looks very interesting and usefull to me :-)
