Hi Jan

Sorry for not replying sooner but I was busy with another task.

I have solved the problem and it was due to Fedora Core 5 adding the
non-realtime module each time.
The rtnet script is now working fine on the master and slaves.

I am using RTnet 0.9.2 and would like some additional advice on another matter.

I was previously using RTnet 0.8.3 and had successfully tested the system and
had used the raw-packets example.
I now see that in the newest version of RTnet that this example only runs under
Xenomai and I am using RTAI 3.3 Vulcano release. How can I re-build my example
to work on the new version of RTnet? Also the generic and RTAI examples in the
new RTnet ask for a port address on both the client and server side in order to
run. How do I obtain the port addresses and must rtai_lxrt be running for these
examples?

Once again, thanks for any and all your help.

Regards

Seshan Govender

What does the dmesg output contain about your failing insmod? Which
RTnet version are you using?
