hi Jan,
I use RTnet 8.3.1.
I have noticed that the real time network drivers (8139too, eepro100, via_rhine, 3cXXXX) don't run in promiscue mode (linux driver run in that mode).
I have two ethernet port and in the first port runs RT-net network (rteth0, vnic0) and in the second port runs no real-time network (eth0).
I need to use the promiscue mode functionality in order to realize a network bridge between these two networks.
I have seen into rtnetconfig that there is the promiscue mode option but I think that doesn't run, because when I use RTcap with Ethreal I only see packets to my host and broadcast, i don't see some packets also when I use an Hub device.
Have you a solution for this problem?
thanks,
Leonardo
