Hi I'm trying to run a dual network setup (running two NICs) on one PC where the one NIC is connected to a real-time RTNet network and the other NIC is connected to a normal non real-time Ethernet network. I'm running the RTNet side while trying to ping another network connection on the non real-time side but it I can't seem to get any response form the normal Ethernet side of things. It seems that RTNet:
1. Either disables the other NICs on the PC while it is active. 2. Or takes up so much CPU resources that the other NIC is not able to transmit. Only when I stop RTNet am I able to ping any other PC's on the normal Ethernet side again. Is it possible to use RTNet alongside a normal non real-time Ethernet connection, has anyone done it? Is there anything I need to set in my configuration to get something like this working? Thanks for the help ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
