Hi You ask for round-trip time measurements - is the measurements reported by rtping accurate enough? If not, is there an app. available for RTAI to measure it? (Ported version of the Xenomai example, perhaps?)
A mailing-list related question: I use Outlook & "reply all" to reply to messages, but it seems that it still creates a new thread in the mailing list. How do I reply in the same thread? Two things to keep an eye on: - check if there is no IRQ conflict between the NIC and Linux before starting up RTnet (quite likely on notebooks) - be warned if you have >768 MB RAM, RTAI can break on such boxes > > I can try various communication examples with our rt8139too box. Please also let us know how your infrastructure looked like (switch/hub/cross-connect, transmission rate).
