I cannot see how. what may be is that my lib tree is non-standard,
that I can fix if I know what it is looking for. Here some lines from
the config.og file (not sure what I am looking for it is 3900 lines
long)

It surely looks like there are plenty of things not at the right
place, but there are so many that it would appear that my kernel src
package has been put though a mixer, schredder and fed to the dogs.
But it can't be that bad if xenomai can be patched on it?
I think configure looks at the kernel src though the link
/lib/modules/2.6.16/build ->linux-2.6.16
I am just wondering whether it also looks for files in the
/lib directory proper, because that one may not be entirely inline
with the patched 2.6.16 kernel.
