Aha, this may be the lead. I was not aware that the kernel src directory gets changed on compiling the kernel. To clarify, I have to compile the kernel, full-pull? I.e. from /usr/src/linux run Make menuconfig (or load existing config file) make modules make install? only then will the kernel src be ripe for rtnet?
