The other way around: cycle_start, which is in local time, gives you a
common basis you can relate your thread delays to, across all nodes.

It's Xenomai native API, but it shouldn't be tricky to port it or to
grab the basic usage. Granted, a few more words / comments would help a
lot. /me tries to improve at least include/rtmac.h and the example now.
