Okay. Wait a second. What do you mean by "pinging works" when you say
you don't get a response?

Your loading script is okay, except for the following points:
- you don't need the cards= parameter in your scenario.
- why don't you give rteth0 an IP??
- eth1 is not "up" in the end. Is that wanted?

I highly suspect either a routing problem (check your routes, both RT
and noRT) or a socket problem. Does whatever program you try open
sockets with INADDRANY on the clientside?

well since you only have one realtek card, that one definitely is rteth0.
