Hello,

I've a little question about the capabilities of RTnet. I want to control an
industrial robot via Ethernet. I use an RTOS-Linux-System as the control unit
and connect them with a Crossover-Ethernet-Cable to the robot and with an
second Ethernet-Controller (also with crossover) to a sensor-PC. Is RTnet
needful for that (I have only two partner per network). Is RTnet possible for
that (I can't install RTnet on the robot, so I must use the UDP/IP-Interface
that KUKA designed for the robot and maybe the Sensor-PC could be a Windows
system).

Regards,
     Franz

You can do the same via menuconfig, just select the right RT extension
type and then specify the required paths.
