They are. That known-good commit is automatically updated by our CI
system, based on test results. Those tests run (because of limited
resources etc.) only with xen-unstable, not with older releases.

If you would prefer to make stable branches of rumprun-xen then that
would be fine of course, and we could use those for tests of stable
branches of Xen. I didn't think you'd want to do that.
