It obviously has not been ignored - problems with it have been pointed
out, and they have not been addressed.

As a minimum for extensions to become part of the core is, among other
things, consistent indenting (which the extension is lacking) and
*documentation*. I am also very reluctant to include anything that a)
has known issues and b) is obviously not maintained by the author and c)
doesn't even try to follow the existing coding style.

You see, it is me who has to clean up and maintain it, and I do not need
this functionality, so I will not tets this functionality, so I am unable
to maintain this functionality.

You are free to use it - installing extensions is easy, and I would be more
happy to link to it somewhere.

But adding 10kb of *undocumented* and badly formatted code that has nobody
maintaining it is not within the goals of urxvt, which is to provide a
working terminal.

Claiming it has been ignored when it hasn't doesn't help. It just wastes more
of my (precious little) time in having to look up what you are talking about
and finding it's not true.

If you want things to be done, then *start working*. Pestering the people who
already *do work* doesn't get you anywhere.
