We say they "take" time, like they took it away from something. Why don't we say they give time? It's good time, isn't it? Did you enjoy putting 5,000 parts together? Sounds just this side of heaven to me. Personally, I have never bought a kit so that I could someday have the finished model. I only buy kits so that I can have the time of putting them together. The finished model is just a bonus, mostly a reminder of the time it gave me to build it. BTW, for the poll: 2 unbuilt cars (they came two in a package) and one unbuilt building. Now I have to mow the lawn and clean the bathrooms: for me, that's time that is "taken." -Michael Eldridge -San Jose, CA To REPLY to the list, use REPLY ALL; to reply to the sender, use REPLY.
