Agreed... though I have to admit that I never used the Peco turnouts. I went straight from the lower-grade Atlas (and other) turnouts to the high-grade Shinohara, BK, etc, etc, etc. turnouts... overstepping the Peco "mid-grade" (as I call it) stuff. But at the same time, I was also going from 4X8, table-top layouts to modules, shelf (point-to-point), and full-fledged layouts.
